For us, for the animals, for the ones around us, for our kids and for the generations to come.

This should be a concern for all, small changes done by millions of people can make a huge impact. Never think that just because you are one person that you aren't making a difference. It just takes one person to start a revolution. Together we can all make a difference.

Not only does climate change have a negative effect on the earth and our environment but it can also do some damage to our bodies. With the rise in forest fires, air pollution and carbon dioxide our bodies can experience heart and lung problems. Asthma can get worse when breathing in air pollution, and other respiratory issues can arise. A rise in temperatures can also lead to heat strokes, dehydration, heat related deaths and in humid areas can lead to more ticks which can bring many diseases.

Did you know that the production of beef is the most harmful to the environment out of all the different kinds of meat? Animal agriculture the the leading cause of greenhouse admissions produced, in one year it is the cause of 87% of it. Not only that but it requires a lot of land, meaning forest are being destroyed to make room. Trees have to be burned down which result in carbon dioxide being put out into the air. So what is the solution to this? Going vegan of course, but to most that is a little extreme. You are asking someone to change everything they know, and if you are anything like myself, a big part of your day revolves around food. In 2020, this is not as hard as it might of been a couple years ago. With the growing rate in vegetarians and vegans, the demand for meatless options has gone up and now you can almost find alternative options everywhere. Fast food places like Burger King, which just came out with their Impossible Whopper, and Starbucks with the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich, there has never been a better time to start Meatless Mondays, or reducing your meat consumption and not feel as if you are missing out. Two of my favorite vegan cooking channels are Caitlin Shoemaker and Sweet Simple Vegan. I have tagged their youtube channels below!
